Important Information Regarding Pool Service License

On July 1, 1999, the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection began to issue limited swimming pool maintenance, repair contractor and journeyman licenses, per the Public Act 99-174, SB 959, under the authorization of the State Plumbing Board. What this means is that when you hire someone to service or work on your pool, you must, by law, hire a licensed service person. This was put into place to ensure that people always get the quality of service that they deserve. When looking for someone to service your pool, look for somebody with a license to do so, such as Dolphin Pools and Spas LLC.
